PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN UCLAN & UOM ENTERPRISE
UOM Enterprise Ltd (UOME) was created in 2010 by the UOM Trust and is registered with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) as a post-secondary educational institution. UOME entered into a partnership with the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) UK in 2011 to deliver numerous programmes of study in Mauritius. After 3 years of successfully delivering an LLM in International Business Law awarded by UCLan UK under the banner of UOM Trust, UOME in collaboration with UCLan launched various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in 2014 in the field of Law and Project Management. In 2023, the UOME-UCLan partnership further diversified its portfolio of programmes through the introduction of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the field of Tourism & Hospitality Management and Business & Marketing. All programmes delivered at UOME have gone through the rigorous process of accreditation by the HEC. In addition, all UCLan courses delivered in Mauritius are recognised under the UK system regulated by the the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA), UK.
